Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs pretend they are good for you.

Limiting beliefs made you believe:
·      They protect you against failure.
·      They give you a sense of certainty and stability.
·      They shield you from potential emotional pain.
·      They serve as an excuse not to undertake effort.

Most limiting beliefs were formed in childhood:
→ You believed when someone important to you said you were not good enough.
→ You knew not saying or doing something would protect your fragile self.
→ You were taught to avoid risk and that you do not influence your life.

You assumed that those were absolute truths. It might have been useful back then, but now they are holding you back and forcing to dismiss your dreams.

So, uncover your limiting beliefs and start overcoming them:
1. Notice your negative self-talk.
2. Identify an underlying limiting belief.
3. Think where it comes from.
4. Realize what you are missing because of them.
5. Reformulate your limiting beliefs into positive believing in yourself.
6. Act on the new beliefs to make them stronger.

It won’t be easy at the start… But think about the freedom you will get, opportunities you will utilize, and dreams that will come true.

Let the limiting beliefs stay in the past.
